In Chile, unimaginable way in one night was gone the Lago Riesco area of 14 hectares. The lake was located 27 kilometres from Puerto aysén, in Chilean Patagonia.

Official comments about the disappearance of the lake is such a huge area yet. Geologists have suggested that the disappearance of the lake may be associated with faults.
Perhaps the rift suddenly opened and swallowed up the lake.
