In Japan unexpectedly bloomed Sakura

Pink-white flowers decorated the town of Kawazu in Shizuoka Prefecture, marking the start of the annual cherry blossom festival. Kawazu — traditionally the first of the Japanese cities, which in spring is covered by a pink haze.

The cause of early flowering trees — an abnormally warm winter. The flowers on the branches of the Sakura blossomed on 15 February and will entertain residents until the beginning of March. First “swallow” the flowering of the Sakura means the blossoming front of Sakura will start to move from South to North. The Japanese are closely watching the movement of the front and when in their area bloom all the trees, arrange Hanami — picnics under the blossoming cherry trees.
