The entire coastal zone near the Argentine city of Santa Rosa in the province of La Pampa is littered with tons of dead fish. A horrible smell spreads over many kilometers.
Local authorities have suggested that it is based on statements by meteorologists that heat is caused by all and the oxygen level in the water is lowered.
