Scientists have not identified the belonging of an unknown animal ejected by waves to the shore of the island of Leith (Philippines). The animal reaches a length of 10 meters.
Specialists from the Bureau of Fish and Water Resources of the Philippines investigated the remains of the creature and reported that they can not tell which species it belongs to. Scientists took DNA samples and promised to report the results.
Although the corpse of the creature was found in a deserted area, the authorities decided to tow the remains to the ocean with the phrase “so that the remains do not violate the ecological situation on the island.”
