In the Red sea spilled oil threatened the beaches and coral reefs

The beaches of Jordan and Saudi Arabia are under threat of pollution because of the massive oil spill in the Red sea. Also spill threatens coral reefs and the Israeli resort of Eilat.

In total spilled into the sea more than two hundred tons of oil. The accident occurred in the Jordanian port of Aqaba. Currently, the oil leak stopped.

The causes of ecological catastrophe is not yet established. Israeli experts believe that the oil could leak into the sea from the ruptured pipe, not from the fuel container.
