An international research team has discovered in the Himalayan mountains handprint of the person left about 12600 years. The prints were left petrified of thermal mud in the spot where now stands the Tibetan monastery of Chusang.
The discovery was made near a Buddhist temple. The prints were difficult to detect because they have been smoothed and polished by the pilgrims, who were constantly touched the stone during the visitation of the monastery.
Discovered the prints of human hands are among the oldest on the Tibetan plateau.
