Archaeologists during excavations on the island of Lesbos discovered stone tools by age 200 thousand years. Excavations in Rodatychi are archaeologists of the University of Crete under Professor Neny Galanida.

Numerous findings, whose age is 500 thousand years give a lot of valuable information about our ancestors, say the archaeologists. Hot springs are located in this area, in ancient times served as a refuge for people during the ice age.

Archaeologists say they have strong evidence that migration of people from Asia and Africa to Europe was not only previously well-known routes but also through Redefnition in the period of 500 thousand — 200 thousand years ago.
