About 1,400 firearms and 1,200 swords believed to have been hidden during the Second World War were found in an elementary school in western Tokyo.
Grenades, rifles, samurai swords, shells for guns were found at a depth of two meters under the base of the elementary school of Tanashi in the city of Nishitokyo.
The cache with weapons was found in the process of preparing the territory for construction work.
