A huge forest fire rages in California

The area of the forest fire raging in northern California exceeded 1148.4 square kilometers, making it the largest in the modern history of this state.

Burning for about a week, the fire covers significant areas in the districts of Coluse, Lake and Mendocino, the flames destroyed about 75 homes and about the same number of other structures. Also, the threat of fire has hung over more than 11 thousand buildings.
