A lake appeared on Mount Blanc at an altitude of 3400 meters

Mont Blanc is located in France. It is the highest mountain in the Alps and the highest in Western Europe. At an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, a real lake appeared there.

It was photographed by climber Brian Mestre on June 28, the lake was formed at the foot of the mountain Du Gean in the Mont Blanc massif and Aiguille Marbet Pike at an altitude of about 3400 meters and it was amazing to see at that height.

Just 10 days ago, there was no lake here. 10 days of extreme heat was enough to melt the ice and form a lake at the foot of the Dent du Jeanne and Aiguille-Marbre. Climbers have never seen anything like this before.
