A strong storm hit Italy

A strong hurricane 1 category on the Saffir-Simpson scale affects the South of Italy. Despite the fact that the pressure is very low (with a minimum around 1010 HPA in the eye of the storm), the pressure gradient is thus to generate very strong winds.
