Very hot weather was established at the end of July in Central Asia and the Middle East. In Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the temperature exceeds +40, in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan – +45.
In Bishkek and Tashkent on 26 July, daily heat records (+39.3 and +41.7, respectively) were updated.
In Turkestan, the thermometer rose to +43, 6. The former maximum of July 26 from 1943 was +41.1.
The wave of warmth spread from the Middle East. In Iraq, the air heated up to +48, in Saudi Arabia – to +49, in Iran – to +50.
