Along the coast of Peru, an earthquake occurred 6.6

An earthquake of magnitude 6.6 occurred off the coast of Peru in the southern part of the country, reports the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

Underground shocks were fixed at 21.05 on Monday local time (05.05 Tuesday Moscow time). The epicenter was located in the southern part of the island, 104 kilometers west of the city of Kamana in southern Peru. The hearth of the earthquake lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.

According to the SkyAlert service, the magnitude of the tremors reached 6.4. “There may be damage in the epicentral zones, there is no danger of a tsunami,” the report said.
Information about the victims and destruction was not received.
