An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred in the north of Kyrgyzstan

An earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred today in the north of Kyrgyzstan. The hearth lay at a depth of 15 km. Epicenter was located at a distance of 39 km from the village of Kaji-Sai and 147 km from Almaty. Subterranean tremors were felt in Kyrgyzstan, as well as in many settlements of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan.
