Australia and Namibia covered the record-breaking heat wave

In the last days all records relating to the maximum temperature was recorded in the southern Hemisphere.

Already high, the sun manages to warm the underlying surface. Above 40 degrees raised the temperature in Namibia, the daily absolute maximum in the town Hardap amounted to 41.7 degrees.


In Australia, the air is heated to 42 degrees (Telfer). And the hottest item on the planet at the end of the day was the village of Twi-rivières, where the air was heated to 42.6 degrees.
