Volcanologists this Friday announced the highest level of danger due to the possible eruption of stratovolcano on the Indonesian island of Bali. One of the indicators of the projected volcanic eruption is increased seismic activity in the area of the island.
The authorities decided to evacuate thousands of residents of villages located near the volcano, to places of temporary residence that are equipped in sports centers.
The last volcanic eruption was observed in 1963-1964. Then, as a result of the fall of the ashes, the desolation of the Lahar and the pyroclastic flow, about 1500 people died.
