Canada is threatened by a winter storm

Communities north of Pas and Winnipeg are threatened by snowfalls and winter storms from Friday.

Spring snowfall in North Manitoba carries a low pressure area. Because of the anticipated bad weather, a “red” storm warning code is declared.

The low pressure system, located east of Saskatchewan, is expected to bring in 15 to 25 centimeters of snow from Friday to Saturday. Road conditions will be difficult in many regions, local residents are encouraged to cancel any insignificant trips until the weather improves.
