The Armenian seismic service on Sunday recorded an earthquake on the territory of the republic. The earthquake occurred in dangerous proximity to Yerevan.
“An underground tremor of magnitude 2.4 is recorded 18 kilometers north-east of the city of Abovyan, Kotayk region, at a depth of 8 kilometers,” the National Service of Seismic Protection of the Ministry of Emergencies of Armenia reports. According to the seismic service, the force of the thrust in the epicenter was three points.
