In the Chinese province of Yunnan, 10 people died as a result of torrential rains and floods caused by them.
Rains in 45 counties of the province began on July 19. Precipitation caused severe flooding and mudflows in several areas.
Element affected almost 223 thousand people, 1,2 thousand inhabitants were urgently evacuated. Destroyed were 200 buildings, another 2,4 thousand damaged.
Direct economic damage is about 40 million dollars.
