Flooding in Zimbabwe

Heavy rains have been observed in recent days in Zimbabwe. Floods affected four provinces of the country, flooded crops and homes.

According to local authorities on 30 January, in the provinces of Harare and Mashonaland East, the disaster has damaged about 2 thousand houses. Difficult weather conditions since remain. The floods also covered the provinces of Midlands and Masvingo. In the flood waters of a swollen river in the province of Yorkshire drowned seven people.
