Heavy rains flooded Jamaica

From floods caused by torrential rains, about 5 thousand people were injured in Clarendon Parish in the south of Jamaica. At least 1 thousand houses are flooded.

The authorities provide assistance to the victims. The mayor of the city of Mei Pen, Winston Marag, reported that the Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response (ODPEM) received 200 mattresses for distribution. Food was also delivered to the disaster zone.
