Heavy rains have led to a flood in the south of Thailand

Heavy monsoonal rains have caused floods in the southern provinces of Thailand. One person has died. Under water there were provinces Pkhattkhalung, Yala, Trang, Naratkhivat and Nakhonsitkhammarat. Many roads of steel not travel. Places have suspended the movement of buses and trains. Numerous schools are closed.

In places water level reaches 1,5-3 meters. Some houses have completely plunged under water. In a zone of disaster evacuation is carried out.

In the province Pkhattkhalung of a flood have captured 507 villages. In total disaster has affected lives over 58,5 thousand people here. The 59-year-old man who has been swept away by flood waters has died.
