In Indonesia intensified the volcano Anak-Krakatau

A strong thermal signal is fixed at the top of the Indonesian volcano Anak-Krakatau (translated as “son of Krakatau”) that is visible on satellite data in recent days. What causes the thermal signal is not precisely known. While non-volcanic causes (e.g. forest fires) can not be excluded, it is more likely that a new mass of lava rose in the crater, probably in the form of a new dome. In this case, Krakatau may be entering a new phase of the eruption (the last significant eruption was in September 2012) that will surprise statistically.
