In Italy, the activity of Stromboli volcano increases

Eruptions occur at intervals of 5-10 minutes, most often from two northeasterly cones and yet from the central and western. There are explosions and lava emissions 200 meters above the volcano.

Stromboli is a small volcanic island with an active volcano. Located in the Tyrrhenian Sea to the north of Sicily, belongs to the group of the Aeolian Islands. The island is on the territory of Italy. The area of the island is 12.5 sq. M. Km.
