In Mexico, the alarm is announced because of the approaching tropical storm “Franklin”

The yellow alarm level is announced in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo in connection with the approach of tropical storm “Franklin”. The cyclone, formed over the Caribbean Sea, moves to the land at a speed of 22 km / h, the wind speed within it reaches 95 km / h with gusts up to 111 km / h.

Experts do not exclude the possibility that in the next 24 hours “Franklin” can gain the strength of the hurricane of the first (out of five) category on the Saffir-Simpson scale when it reaches the coast. In this regard, the population was recommended to observe the necessary precautions and monitor the information coming from the authorities.

In August 2016 in Mexico during the hurricane “Earl” killed at least 49 people. The main impact of the elements then fell on the states of Veracruz and Puebla.
