In Northern Pakistan was struck by a strong storm: at least nine people were killed and about 100 injured. Gusts of wind over 100 miles per hour was observed in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Most of the people killed in the collapse of buildings and falling trees. It is reported that flights to the airport to Benazir Bhutto delayed or diverted to Lahore.
