Training sessions have been canceled in some schools in the Magadan Region due to low temperatures, according to the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region.
On January 15, in connection with low temperatures and for the prevention of catarrhal diseases, five schools of the Susumani Urban District of the Magadan Region canceled classes in schools for students from the first to the eleventh grades.
It is noted that, despite the frosts, all objects of the fuel and energy complex and housing and communal services are operating in the regular mode.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations also recommends motorists to refrain from traveling outside the populated areas on their own vehicles, and pedestrians should be cautious when traveling through the streets.
According to the data of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, on Monday afternoon the air temperature in the city of Susuman will be minus 43 degrees, and at night the thermometer will drop to -50.
