Landslide in Indonesia

7 people were killed and another 7 were seriously injured as a result of a landslide in the area of East Luva, South Sulawesi Province, the National Agency for Natural Disaster Reduction (BNPB) reported.

The incident occurred on the morning of May 13 in the village of Malivo, in the region of Angkon. As a result of the landslide, 14 houses were buried, BNPB chairman Sutopo Purvo Nugroho said in a statement to the press. The landslide was caused by strong and prolonged rains.
