On the shore of the Sea of Okhotsk, Kamchatka threw dead whales

Carcasses of two whales were thrown on the shore of the Sea of Okhotsk near the Oktyabrsky settlement of the Ust-Bolsheretsky district of Kamchatka. Animals on a sandy beach were found by local residents.

One of the whales is a humpback, the second is a small minke whale. Judging by the skin condition, the whales died a month ago, probably in the sea, and they were hit by the storm to the shore. Causes of death are most likely natural, since there are no traces of injuries on the caudal stems and body – neither from ship screws, nor from fishing gear.
