Pakaya volcano erupts lava flows

Against the background of the catastrophic eruption of the Guatemalan volcano Fuego, the eruption of another no less dangerous volcano passed unnoticed for the world media, but it is no less dangerous and there is a possibility that the release of lava from the mouth of the Pacaya volcano is directly related to the eruption of Fuego.

Pakaya volcano is an active volcano in the territory of Guatemala, one of the most active volcanoes on the planet. Height above sea level is 2,552 meters.

Pacay is shaken by explosions and lava flows are more than 50 meters long and 20 meters wide. Volcanologists calm the population and say that at the moment there is no danger of a catastrophic eruption.
