Shiveluch volcano threw a pillar of ash

Volcano Shiveluch in Kamchatka threw a column of ash at a height of 12 km. The ash plume stretches for about 300 km to the south-southwest of Shiveluch.

The Shiveluch volcano has a red, the highest level of danger for aviation. In the department of the Ministry for Emergency Situations in the region reported that there are no settlements on the way of spreading the plume from the ashes. Also there they advised not to conduct hiking trips near the volcano.
