Storm “Olivia” moves to Hawaii

Towards the Hawaiian Islands is approaching the tropical storm “Olivia”, reports AccuWeather.

According to forecasts of meteorologists, “Olivia” will reach the Hawaiian Islands on Wednesday, September 13. On the hills of the islands of Maui and Hawaii, up to 30 mm of precipitation can fall, in the highlands – about 50 mm of rain. There is a threat of floods and landslides.

A strong wind, whose speed will reach 80 km / h, can also leave serious damage, especially in coastal areas. Possible power outages.

Motorists were urged to be on-the-spot on the roads because of the threat of flooding, tree falls and power lines.
