The streets of Vilnius were flooded after passing a heavy rainfall. As a result of the disaster, the streets turned into rivers, many cars were flooded, and local residents swam the streets on boats.
In just a few hours, 48 millimeters of precipitation fell. Because of the accident, 5000 cubic meters of wastewater hit the local river.
