The epicenter of the earthquake was at a point with coordinates 33.2 degrees north latitude and 103.82 degrees east longitude. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 20.0 km. This was reported by the Chinese Center for Seismological Networks.
The death toll in the earthquake of magnitude 7.0, which occurred on the eve of the Aba-Tibet-Qiang autonomous region of Sichuan province, South-West China, reached 13 people, the press service of the Sichuan Provincial Administration reported.
