The EU allowed the Netherlands to fish in the North Sea with the help of “electrodulation”

The European Union allowed Dutch fishermen to use a new technology that excludes the use of nets and trawls when fishing. Fishing with electricity is prohibited in the EU, but for the Netherlands an exception was made for testing experimental technology.

Ecologists are indignant and demand to stop killing fish with the help of electricity, because many fish do not get on board the fishing vessel after that and die from the shock of the current as a result of a fracture of the spine. Ecologists are sure that the new method is much more dangerous than traditional methods of fishing.
