As a result of floods and landslides in Vietnam, 83 people have already died, another 20 people are reported missing, officials said Tuesday.
Thousands of homes plunged into the water or were destroyed, several cities were cut off from the outside world. Floods also damaged the harvest of rice on a total area of more than 22 thousand hectares.
According to forecasts of meteorologists, medium and heavy rains are expected until Thursday in the south of the Central Highland, coffee belt, as well as in the central and southern provinces of the country.
