The President of the Arab Emirates urged residents to pray for rain

The President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan called on men, women and children across the country to join in prayer for rain.

As stated in the publication, local farmers complained about acute water scarcity, in which you can plant seeds. The cause of the drought, in their opinion, is global warming.

Universal prayer in all mosques in the UAE will last 45 minutes. Al Nahyan is involved in prayer at the Grand mosque Sheikh Zayed in Abu Dhabi.
