The snowfall left 43 thousand inhabitants of Canada without light

On the Canadian province of British Columbia, a heavy snowfall hit the poles of the power lines. As a result, about 43 thousand people were left without electricity. Emergency brigades repair damaged areas, but it is not known when their work will be completed.

On the island of Vancouver, according to weather forecasters, up to 20-25 centimeters of snow can fall out. Part of the motorways and local roads is closed.

During the day, due to snowfall, many schools were closed. Parents took their children from schools before the due time. It is possible that schools will not work the next day.
