In the area of the Kuril Islands, a few hours recorded three tremors of magnitude 4.2 to 5.7. All three push occurred around the same area.
The first quake with a magnitude of 5.7 occurred on Monday in 7.25 in 118 kilometers from the Kuril (Iturup) (44,2 n. 147,7 V. D.) to a depth of 50 kilometers.
The second earthquake was at 9.05 144 kilometers South-East of the island of Iturup to a depth of 13 kilometers (44,8 n. 151 V. D.) of a magnitude of 4.6.
The third quake was recorded at 14.00 128 kilometers South-East of Iturup (44,9 S. sh. 150 V. D.). The magnitude was 4.2.
