Storm warning announced in Bermuda in connection with the approach of tropical storm “Karl”.
According to the Bermuda weather service, the element will be held in 82 nautical miles from the island at 4:00 local time tomorrow. A storm approaching from the South, carries strong winds (with potential gusts of hurricane force, especially in the Eastern and southern parts of the sea area, as well as at higher elevations), along with rains, storms and dangerous waves (mainly along the southern shore).
The system is expected to be strengthened today, approaching hurricane status tomorrow. Jeff Baron, Minister of national security, urged the public to prepare for the storm, remove outdoor furniture. Boat owners encouraged to refrain from sailing due to strong winds.
