Completely cobwebbed tree photographed in the UK

Fully crocheted tree was photographed in the UK. Spider webs hid thousands of caterpillars, due to the movement of which the tree swayed.

Although the sight frightens, in fact, nothing terrible is happening. The caterpillars entwine the trees with cobwebs in order to safely prepare for pupation and become butterflies – an ordinary natural process.

Spider webs appear on trees in the spring, when the first leaves are pecked – the favorite food of caterpillars.
