The Singapore company Otsaw Digital introduced a patrol robot with a drone. The device, designated O-R3, can patrol a certain area and, if necessary, launch an unmanned aerial vehicle to pursue the intruder from the air. The drone can be separated from the car by 100 m.
The O-R3 is running on batteries. With a low charge, he returns to the charging station himself. The operator can take control of the drones to himself, if necessary. The machine supports face recognition. In addition, it is equipped with a thermal imager. The device is able to recognize obstacles and to travel around them. Also, O-R3 can detect the left suspicious bags.
In the future, the company intends to release a smaller version of O-R3 for indoor operation.
