A robot is presented that can replicate the facial expressions of a person

The robot was developed by the Japanese engineer Takayuki Todo (Takayuki Todo), transfers TechCrunch. SEER is a small model of a person’s head; it is equipped with eye models over which are installed eyelids, also able to move, and even higher are the eyebrows – flexible wires that are able to flex and thus also participate in the mimicry display.

SEER can respond to the closest person – by establishing visual contact or by repeating facial expressions. These are the two current operating modes; in both cases a camera is used nearby – it recognizes and tracks in real time the features of a person’s face.
