Scientists from the max Planck Institute in Germany used a small silicone beads that formed patterns on the water surface under the influence of sound. In fact, it is a full acoustic holograms which exist exactly as long as it lasts a beep.
According to PIR Fisher, co-author of the project, based on the principle of acoustic levitation is a method often used to study the bubbles and foam that you can “hang” in the air on the audio stream and thus to protect the fragile structure from collapse.
