The Chinese company GuoRong introduced the same-name system for the elimination of small unmanned aerial vehicles. Video tests, during which it is shown first the elimination of the target on the apparatus, and then the very drone itself, is available on YouTube.
The GuoRong complex includes a radar, a radio interference generation system, an electro-optical module and a laser installation. These elements on the company’s video are posted on two small trucks.
The declared range of the radar system is 55 kilometers, the laser unit operates at a distance of about 600 meters. The product is planned to be used, in particular, at airports.
