In the Pacific Ocean to the East from the Fiji Islands there was an earthquake measuring 7,2. According to Geological service of the USA, epicenter of tremors was in 280 kilometers to the East from the capital of the Republic of Fiji — the city of Suva. The seismic center lay at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Data on victims and destructions did not enter, however around an earthquake the tsunami threat is announced.
