An international group of scientists announced the successful completion of the test heavy duty laser “Bivoj” (Bivoj), received its name in honor of the legendary Czech athlete. The project of creation of laser “Bivoj” at a cost of $ 48 million. The weight of the laser system is about 20 tons. A team of scientists hopes to bring new technology to the commercial market in the second half of this year, where it can be used in engineering purposes, for example in the hardening of metals and in industrial production, for example in the manufacture of semiconductor materials.
