In the brain of people found the quantum tunnels

A group of researchers from the University of calgary and University of Alberta (Canada) found that the human brain can exist in the photon tunnels, which are essentially new to modern science form of communication between neurons.

Neuroscientists had previously come to the conclusion that the nerve cells can emit photons, and the authors of the study, in turn, have wondered about the possibility of light to provide an additional connection between neurons.

Using mathematical modeling, scientists have found that the role of the waveguides can be of the myelin sheath covering the axons of neurons. Thus, the researchers believe, biophotons and the myelin sheath create optical quantum networks in the human brain.
