In the future, many species of fish will live on the shore

Scientists from the University of New South Wales (Australia) made a statement, which deals with fish and evolution. They argue that in future many species of fish will live on land.

It is worth noting that one of the evolutionary theories is that all living things were originally in the water. Researchers from the University of New South Wales claim that in the world there is a species of fish called Blennies. They are known for the fact that, if necessary, they can get out of the water and live on land. It is possible that this type of fish reveals the veil of life of living beings many millions of years ago. Specialists for a very long time observed these fish. As a consequence, it became clear why they are selected from the water to land. It turned out that near the Cook Islands in the Pacific, Blennies can often be the victims of various dangerous predators. Especially this happens during the tides, because then they find themselves close to coral reefs, where many dangers await them.

Thanks to observations, scientists came to the conclusion that in the future many water species will move to the land in order to seek new food, as well as to protect themselves from predators. It is possible that the behavior of such species will also be affected by a change in the global environmental situation.
