In the UAE will build a skyscraper with 3D printing

The world’s first skyscraper, created with the help of 3D-printing technology, may appear in the UAE, Khaleej Times reports.

The plans were announced by the construction startup Cazza Construction, based in Dubai.

“When we first thought about the use of 3D printing technology, we were thinking more about houses and low-rise buildings.” Developers asked us if it was possible to “print out” using this skyscraper technology? This prompted us to investigate exactly how we can apply this technology For high-rise buildings, “- said the company’s managing director Chris Kelsey.

At the same time, the company did not provide details about the developer of the new building and its anticipated height and design.

Last year, Dubai authorities announced a strategy for 3D Printing Strategy, implying that by 2030, 25% of all buildings in Dubai will be created using 3D printing. The UAE already has the world’s first office building created with this modern technology.
